Overview
The VKB Group invites South African students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2025. This esteemed programme supports students pursuing SAICA-accredited qualifications, with the aim of becoming a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)(SA).

About the VKB Bursary Programme
Bursary recipients will be required to complete 3 weeks of vacation work per year at VKB Reitz. After graduation, recipients must complete a 3-year SAICA trainee contract. The bursary will be renewed annually, subject to compliance with the bursary contract terms and conditions.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the bursary:
- South African Citizenship: You must be a South African citizen.
- Matriculation: You must have completed Matric.
- Academic Qualification: You must be studying towards a SAICA-accredited qualification.
- Career Aspiration: You must be working towards becoming a qualified CA(SA).
- Institution: You must be enrolled at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.
- Skills: You must possess the following skills: problem definition and analysis, decision making, critical thinking, communication, personal resilience, planning, influencing, analytical, time management, and collaboration.
