Scholarship for Grade 8 or Grade 9 for 2025 Barberton Mines is offering High School Scholarship Bursaries for the 2025 academic year.

The scholarship provides:

• Enrolment at Hoërskool Barberton
• School fees
• Hostel fees (optional)
• Full school uniform
• Stationery and toiletries for hostel students
• Monthly stipend of R370 (January to November)

Students will be selected based on:

• Academic performance
• Financial need
• Historical disadvantage for individuals from Barberton/Emjindini and surrounding areas

Eligibility Requirements – Barberton Mines High School Scholarship Bursary 2025

To qualify, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

• Be a South African citizen
• Reside within the Barberton/Emjindini and surrounding areas in Mpumalanga
• Be entering Grade 8 or Grade 9 in 2025
• Be keen to attend Hoërskool Barberton in Barberton, Mpumalanga
• Have achieved a minimum overall average of 85% in the 2023 academic year
• Have a total household income of less than R300,000 per annum
• Be from a historically disadvantaged background
