Eligibility Criteria Bursary for culinary
To qualify for this prestigious bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- General Requirements:
- Be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
- Be ready to begin studies in February 2025.
- Commit to full-time, in-person learning.
- Programme-Specific Requirements:
- Foundational Cookery Programme:
- Age: 18 years or older
- Education: Completed Grade 9 or NQF Level 2
- Professional Chef Programme:
- Age: 17 years or older (must turn 18 by 30 June 2025)
- Education: Completed Grade 10 or NQF Level 2 with Mathematics Literacy
- Professional Patisserie Programme:
- Age: 18 years or older
- Education: Completed Grade 12/Matric or NQF Level 2 with Mathematics Literacy
- Foundational Cookery Programme:
- Additional Requirements:
- Agree to the terms and conditions of the bursary.
- Be willing to act as a brand ambassador for Capsicum Culinary Studio.
- Have no prior culinary or pastry qualifications.
- Not be a Capsicum staff member, family member, or friend.

- Proof of Grade 9/10/12 or NQF Level 2 completion.
