DTSA is providing bursaries for undergraduate studies in the following fields:
- Engineering: Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics
- Finance: Applied Mathematics, Economics, Accounting, Financial Management
- Human Resource Management
- Information Technology
- Legal: LLB
- Marketing: Communication, Digital Media, Public Relations
- Procurement, Supply Chain, and Logistics

The bursary includes financial assistance for:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Books
This bursary will support your studies, making your academic journey easier and more affordable.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the DTSA Bursary, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen under the age of 35.
- Be in Matric or have completed Matric.
- Be studying or planning to study full-time towards an undergraduate degree in one of the listed fields.
- Be attending or planning to attend a registered and accredited South African university.
- Have achieved:
- A minimum 70% average in Matric, or
- A minimum 65% average at the tertiary level.
- Preference will be given to students studying in Pretoria and East London.
Selection Process
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified by 31 January 2025.
- The final academic results (Matric or tertiary) will play a significant role in the selection process.
- If you do not hear back by 31 January 2025, please consider your application unsuccessful.

- Matric latest results (if currently in Matric)
- Matric certificate (if completed Matric)
- Recent full academic transcripts (if currently studying)

The closing date for applications is 29 November 2024. Late submissions will NOT be considered, so be sure to apply before the deadline.
