Males and Females experience the world differently. It is quite evident how each sex performs in different fields and especially on Social Media.

People may have many theories as to, and I would have theories of my own on as to why its apparent that the women are killing the Social Media Game more than men.

Let me challenge you for a second. You can either do it right now or at a later stage after reading this article. Head onto your Instagram and go to your followers list, you’d notice that approximately 70-90% of your followers depending on how big your account is or maybe if you may know persons either close to you or persons you know on social media that wants to be an Influencer with everything they got, on Instagram specifically, have an attractive feed, they have a few passion, but they do not have many followers to ultimately qualify to be an influencer or even a micro-influencer, but they want to be that person that has millions of followers because you love food, love to travel or love travel photography.

Unfortunately, that industry is brutal to men. Its evident that sexism exist in the real world, and that there is a huge pay gap with women and men. In the real world, for years it is better to be a man than it is to be a woman.

This Is A Bad Issue, do not get me wrong, frankly it needs to be resolved in the real world, however if you a male and you want to become an influencer, you have little to no chance to be one because looking at the state of the influencer market today, it is dominated by females.

Females are better at making communities and creating content…the statement is arguable yes, but that is just the way it is. Females are super extraordinary in the influencer market to-date. They dominating social media as is. Men just can’t be travel, fashion influencers as successfully as females.

It is not easy to escalate as an influencer on Instagram unless you have a huge amount of content to post with the perfect balance in aesthetics, constant collaborations and high-quality content.

Examples of female influencers, that are increasingly upcoming and are already crushing it on Instagram.

Yes, there are male influencers who are crushing it, but if you look at your social media, those males are either really good at fashion, fashion streetwear or photography. They are just specialists at style and fashion. Some can be really rich, constantly networking with rich people, hanging around beautiful girls/models and collaborating with them or even getting shout outs. Being an Artist perhaps.

You have to be really good at something in real life to be a successful influencer and crush the market. You have to work extra hard to be noticed and some will not even get noticed as quick as they expect, but for females, the good news is, if you want to be an influencer, you do not necessarily have to be good at something in real life, the industry is just built that way. You can be good at social media and succeed at this life thing.

Males can dominate as well, but it is a uphill battle to get there and dominate as fast as they want to. Females dominate the influencing market and they surely can dominate the real world as well.

Tbo Touch reacts to claims against him being Xenophobic.

Celebrity and media personality Tbo Touch received a lot of resilience following his recent social media comments about immigrants crossing the South African borders illegally, the 19th of November, on Twitter.

The masses at large bombarded the social media platform after he commented on a video post by which the prime time news anchor Cathy Mohlahlana, of Newzroom Afrika posted, revealing how many immigrants entered the country illegally.

The video clearly shows how a small group of people emerged from the bushes, running towards minibuses parked by the side of the road.

Tbo Touch came across the post, and shared his view, in his response to Mohlahlana, he wrote: “Cathy, we have Home Affairs throwing toys all over the place on #Bushiri when they know we have open borders. There are 4,5million illegal immigrants in SA with no finger prints, valid identity at all.”

See his response below:

After his response, the masses took to the platform, describing and labelling the media personality as “Xenophobic”, whilst a few applauded at him, by noting that the South African Government is not doing enough to protect it`s citizens by handling the borders issue. Tbo Touch then reacted once more, highlighting what had occurred with him and his wife Nandi Molefe during a terrible robbery incident.

Furthermore, the star tweeted that we should not misinterpret Xenophobia and Patriotism. In this tweet, he paints a clear distinction of what his action against the initial tweet means and that everybody must be proud of their nationality!

Has the conversation on Twitter sparked a sense of division and a perception that Africans will not get along?

Will this conversation be ongoing? Will something be done to protect the borders of South Africa and bring people together peacefully sorting out any woes that this very continent is facing?

Its Up To You: People’s Opinions Don’t Matter.

Many different people offer their opinions about you and you should not care!

Benjamin Gentles | December 2020 | Nochillinmzansi

People will hate. They will be there to judge and criticize you. They always have. It literally does not matter what you do, whether you post a picture of yourself on social media, behave differently from them, how you dress, how you speak, how you address certain factors in this reality, they will have an opinion on every single thing. People will share their negativity, just to satisfy a need within them. They do not like to see you thrive and achieve things that they cannot, so instead they splash some negativity on a positive thing.

“Your opinion is not my reality.”- Steve Maraboli

We allow other’s opinions and perceptions to define us and control how we do things, but at the end of the day, that is just the role of society. The constant judgement and attacks, can be compared to an army of ants, seeking for something to feed off on. It’s a simple comparison but an effective one, that will enable you to give you a better image of how the masses baseless opinions is being thrown at you.

Opinions have no purpose, other than to hurt or harm you. Other’s opinions of you does not matter. They have no sense in the entire being that you are. They do not matter. It can be hard to not be triggered emotionally by hurtful opinions, but you a human being. You have emotions just as the person next to you or in your personal life.

Walk away from negative opinions and perceptions people have of you.

You would agree that it is easy to think that those opinions do not matter and that they do not define you, right? Yes, it is quite hard to put in practice.

Keep your head up high. Turn the other cheek. Do not give other the pleasure of insulting you. Do not allow their irrational energy shove you down a slippery slope and stir you into a hot boiling bowl of anger.

An rating scale of approval cannot define your self-worth. No matter what inconsistent, irrational trolls can say about you, it does not define your self-worth. They do not know what you have been through. Have they been in your life? Do they know your story? Their opinions do not matter. Trust yourself: You know yourself. There is not rating of approval in this broad universe that can determine how you should act, create or be yourself.

Opinions make you depressed and sombre. That is enough reason to never pay attention to other’s judgements and opinions about you. There is no doubt in the world that you would want to go around feeling melancholic. Do not try to please everyone with your decisions. People do not care about you! It is improbable to please someone with your decision, because no matter what decision you make in your life, someone is going to be upset and have an opinion on how you can change your direction on the decision you made and they will judge you effortlessly, on what you do for your career, social media, education, children, the places you go to or even who you associate yourself with.

If they speak about you behind your back, they your secret group of fans.

Do not cater for other people’s opinions. You do not have an additional pen and notebook for every single being out there to address their opinions of your decisions.

You only have one notebook and pen for your OWN views. Other’s opinions do not matter.
