About the Accenture Education Trust
The Accenture Education Trust aims to assist students from families with incomes ranging from R 350,000 to R 1 million, as well as post-graduate students from households earning less than R 300,000. The scholarship covers a wide range of expenses including registration fees, tuition, examination fees, meals, residence, book allowances, and even provides a laptop. Additionally, scholars benefit from a comprehensive support program that includes emotional and social support tools, academic and career guidance, financial support tools, and mentorship.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Achievement: Maintain a cumulative average of above 65% in a technology-aligned degree program (see list of eligible disciplines below).
- Year of Study: Currently in the second, third, fourth, or Honours year of study.
- Family Income: Family income between R 350,000 and R 1 million, or for post-graduate students, household income less than R 300,000.
- South African Citizenship: Applicants must be South African citizens.
- University: Enrolled or intending to enroll at one of the following universities:
- Rhodes University
- Stellenbosch University
- University of Cape Town
- University of Johannesburg
- University of Pretoria
- University of the Witwatersrand
- University of KwaZulu-Natal
- University of the Western Cape

Scholarship Disciplines
Applications are accepted from students majoring in the following disciplines:
- BSc: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information and Knowledge Systems, Information Systems, Mechanical with Mechatronics Engineering
- BSc (Eng): Information Technology, Electronic / Electrical (Light Current)
- BCom: Informatics, Information Systems, Stats and Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Big Data Analytics, Post Graduate Diploma in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
- BEng: Electronic or Electrical Comp Eng, Information Engineering, Micro Electronic Engineering
