Moonchild showing off her booty has made some people assume she’s “brainless”

Moonchild Sanelly has lashed out against claims that she “lacks intellect” just because she’s body confident.

She took to Twitter to slam those that want to equate her “lack” of clothing to a “lack of brains”.

“It’s amazing that by owning ur body and being confident society attaches confidence with lack of brains! But qhubekani both insecure males and not so confident females,” she said.

Moonchild added that it wasn’t just men who made the assumption, but women were just as guilty. While engaging with her followers, the musician also slammed the idea that a woman could only embrace her sexiness for a man.

“According to society – women are only allowed to be ‘sexy’ for the entertainment of men. You may only dress ‘provocatively’, twerk and show your ass, talk about sex etc. when it is in the interest of men,” the tweet read.

The singer also added that she was disgusted that rapists even went as far as blaming the women for their “animalistic” acts.

“It’s ridiculous. I mean it’s sad because even a rapist will blame you for their animalistic act! Somehow they need to be shareholders of your body. Funny enough, even their idea of you won’t change their respect for you! So girl respect yourself,” she said.

Halala Mr and Mrs! Theo Kgosinkwe and Vourne On Tying The Knot

Theo Kgosinkwe put a ring on model Vourne Williams’ finger at her 26th birthday dinner, and a year later they made it official.

Theo Kgosinkwe and his bae Vourne celebrate their union after the couple officially got hitched over the weekend. They were married in a small and intimate ceremony, thanks to Covid-19, and said they planned to have the big celebration in 2021.

They both shared snaps of their big day and said they couldn’t wait to be husband and wife.

“Due to Covid-19, Vourne and I had to postpone our wedding celebrations until 2021, but we couldn’t wait to be husband and wife. Yesterday I married my bestie. We can’t wait to celebrate with family and friends next year,,” Theo said in an Instagram post.

Since the end of his 15-year marriage to Rose, with whom he has two children, Theo has tried to keep his personal life far away from the spotlight.

Theo and Vourne got engaged a little over a year ago at Vourne’s 26th birthday dinner.

The man, who is clearly a romantic, asked the 26-year-old model the big question while serenading her, accompanied by an acoustic guitarist.

The couple have been living their best lives together, also worshipping and blogging together. They recently beat Covid-19 as a couple.

Their friends, family and fans flooded their timelines with messages of love and well wishes.

“My brother and friend Theo married his friend and love of his life yesterday, the ever-so beautiful Vourne. at an intimate and beautiful ceremony. Congratulations. Love you both,” Nhlanhla said.

Lasizwe has some daddy issues he wishes to heal from

Lasizwe opens up about the ‘anger’ he felt towards his father who ‘broke’ him.

Reality TV star Lasizwe has never been shy to put his “absent father” on blast in the past and this time he took to Twitter to reflect on how broken and angry he still is that his father wasn’t “truly” there for him.

The vlogger told his followers he wished they never had to experience the feeling of not feeling loved by their fathers. He explained that feeling that way has left him angry at his father.

“I pray you experience what it means to be loved by your father! I pray you don’t experience the level of brokenness and anger I have towards my father.”

He also expressed his desire to find healing of past emotional hurt he’s experienced at the hands of his father.

“I pray I find some healing because that man really tore my heart into pieces from a tender age!” he said.

The reality star has previously opened up about the issues he has with his father on his reality show Fake It Till You Make It

In one episode, Lasizwe went to therapy with his older sister Khanyi Mbau and mentioned that he did not see his father much when he was growing up. He said he was raised by a single mother with the help of his maternal family.

In a candid interview with Mac G, Khanyi explained that part of the reason she dated sugar daddies earlier in her life was because she has daddy issues.

MinNie Dlamini Slammed for calling Bantu Knots “ghetTo”

Source: Instagram

When TV personality Minnie Dlamini took to Twitter to show off her new look, the last thing she probably expected was to get heat which resulted in her topping the Twitter trends list.

The star sparked outrage and fierce debate on Tuesday night when she posted a pic of her wearing her hair in Bantu knots.

She told fans that “just because it’s ghetto, doesn’t mean it’s not fabulous”.

She had also posted the same snap on Instagram alongside the caption: “I can go from lady to ghetto in a second #BantuKnots.”

While some, including Idols SA judge Unathi Nkayi and singer Kelly Khumalo, were all for the look, others dragged Minnie for her use of the word “ghetto” to describe the hairstyle.

They argued that the style was beautiful and worn by women around the world. They argued that calling natural hair “ghetto” confirmed “the stereotype that black culture is inferior and barbaric”.

Fans flooded the TL with pictures of their own Bantu knots.

Minnie has not responded to the backlash.

Zodwa Wabantu doesn’t think her Ben 10’s are using her

‘I wouldn’t say they use me, because I love them’ – Zodwa on dating younger men.

As her drama with Vusi Ngubane continues, Zodwa Wabantu has vehemently denied the suggestion that young men only date her so they can benefit from her money and fame.

The common trait Mzansi has seen with Zodwa’s Ben 10s is that she spends large amounts of money on them, and they become famous by association.

In a recent interview on Podcast and Chill, Mac G asked if she feels like they date her only to use her, but it was very clear that she doesn’t think so.

“I wouldn’t say they use me because I love them. I allow them to wear them sneakers, the T-shirts and the jeans from Dubai or wherever I travel to. The watches, the latest phones from Dubai and whatever.

“I buy those things for them, I choose to do that. The problem that ends our relationship is that they change and they want to be Chris Brown,” Zodwa told Mac G.

Zodwa says she’s loved worldwide for being herself, and she isn’t desperate for love, but she does loves attention and has found that young boys do better when it comes to that.

Responding to the criticism on Instagram, Zodwa wrote: “They (young men) go for me and if I like them I say yes.” She also advised that her critics should leave her alone, or go to the police if they have a problem with her.

Simphiwe Ngema has found love once more and it’s beautiful to see

Simphiwe Ngema. Picture: Instagram
Simz Ngema & other widows deserve joy as well.

In August 2017 Simz became a young widow after her husband, Dumi Masilela, was shot and killed in a botched hijacking.

We all watched Simz go through an unimaginable amount of pain caused by a tragedy so sudden and so brutal that the thought of healing and being restored seemed far-fetched.

We watched her grieve and go through a number of painful firsts.

First birthday without him, first anniversary, and all the other moments she didn’t have the strength to share.

I was happy to hear that Simz and her new boyfriend Tino Chinyani are expecting. The pregnancy reveal was done by both the love birds on a post on Instagram where Simphiwe “Simz”was in front of a bright yellow background with flowers around her and her baby bump visible.

Many others like myself are so happy to finally watch her glow, win, smile, find love, conceive a child and just be restored.

Simz deserves every bit of happiness the world has to offer. God knows she’s had her share of pain.

With that being said, from what I can tell, Tino has a lot of people to answer to if he even thinks about breaking her heart.

Bonang Matheba is on cloud nine after broadcaster SABC reported that her latest reality show had broken viewership records.

A Very Bonang Year, based in part on her time in the US last year, debuted on SABC1 last weekend, reaching more than 1.8 million viewers.

“We are excited to announce that A Very Bonang Year reached a record-breaking 1.86 million viewership in its first episode of broadcast. This is unheard of for any broadcast platform in SA for a celebrity-driven reality show genre and at a time when SA viewers have more reality TV content to choose from,” Zandile Nkonyeni, Head of PR: SABC TV Channels, said in a statement.

She said the channel had avoided celebrity reality shows until now and was happy to see their decision to acquire Bonang’s show pay off.

The show was also a huge hit online, trending for two days straight. According to a statement from Bonang’s team, it reached more than 1.3 billion impressions on social media.

“The extraordinary amount of hashtag impressions — number 1 trending hashtag in SA over Saturday & Sunday — emphasised the ‘B Effect’, with even more hashtag impressions than the 1.1 billion reached during the launch of The House of BNG last year,” they claimed.

Bonang was just as excited at the news and told fans it was “madness”.

Vlogger Lasizwe showed his support for #ZimLivesMatter & RECEIVED homophobic responses

Lasizwe stands with Zimbabwe but attacked in return
Lasizwe Stands With Zimbabwe But Attacked In Return.

Reality TV star Lasizwe was left heartbroken when his support for the #ZimbabweansLivesMatter was met with hostile and homophobic comments.

South African celebrities have joined the masses in standing in solidarity with Zimbabweans, amid reports that anti-corruption protestors had been arrested and dissenting voices crushed in the country.

However, Lasizwe’s pledge of support was met with unexpected reactions from some homophobic users that left him hurt.

In response to Lasizwe’s “I stand with Zimbabwe”, one tweep replied “Unfortunately we don’t stand with gays”, while another tweeted, “No thanks, we don’t stand with you.”

Lasizwe said the homophobic tweets he was receiving were heartbreaking: “The homophobia I am currently experiencing from my fellow African brothers and sisters is heartbreaking! We still have a long way to go for the LGBTQI+ community to be free in Africa!”

Lasizwe has never shied away from his sexuality, has been praised for helping change the narrative about the LGBTQI+ community and importantly having some representation in mainstream media.

Many people rallied behind Lasizwe.

“Stop attacking gay people, stop attacking Lasizwe… Are you God wena to judge other people?’Another supporter  Daniel M Kekana said,  “Eish bro like in 2020 people are still homophobic? I find it rather narrow-minded, some people were told gay is wrong from an early age and they still believe that. As a grown adult be open-minded about things. A homophobe and racist, same whatsapp group #lasizwe”“He does not need you to stand with him. We are happy with him here in SA. We have no issue with his sexuality. Imagine being concerned about Lasizwes sexuality in the midst of police brutality in your country. Uryt enhloko?’ added another tweet.

Some claimed that it could be people that are against the movement trying to sabotage them.
