Mpho Sebina a Botswana singer and songwriter based in South Africa released her second body of work. The album is titled ‘LORA’ which translates to ‘to Dream’ from Setswana.

She stated on an Instagram post that she dedicates the 12 -track album to the dreamer, she encourages the dreamer to keep dreaming and achieving. 

She has worked with the likes of Veezo View, Amo beats, Worlasigh, Charles Favi Motsemme, Yannis Sainte-Rose, Young Pretty Bangers and more music creatives.

 Mpho is known for Fusing Hip-Hop, Soul, Jazz, traditional SeTswana and folklore into her sound.

Her first 6 – track EP was released in 2017 titled Neo which means gift in Setswana. The project has a fusion of soul, RnB and African throw backs. She has since been working on small projects, she released singles from 2018 until the present year 2020. The talented musician has performed on COLORSXSTUDIO, also at events such as Gaborone International Music & Culture week, Bassline Live, Rebirth of Cool and Basha Uhuru. 

The organic yet experimental creative has a loyal audience that constantly follows her music, and the fanbase continues to heighten as she grows as a musician.

She is well known for her acapella approach to music, she has excuted acapella Mash ups of Boom Shaka, Brenda Fassie, The Fugees and Erykah Badu songs.

The star grew up in a family of music lovers. Prior to persuing music, She graduated with an honors Degree in International Business from the Multimedia University of Malaysia. It was during those years that she started exploring the domains of writing, recording and vocal training. It was in Malaysia where her debut single Loves Light was composed, the single was inspired by the South African all black Rock group, BLK JKS’s song Tselane.

Mpho’s growth is set to be quickly marvelous. Her new album and Debut EP and along with the rest of her music are available on all music platforms.
